Academics

Preschool (K3 - K4)

At Hartfield Academy, we believe a love for the Lord and a passion for learning start at an early age.
Our curriculum encourages center-based, hands-on activities where a student is actively applying what they are learning. This classroom style allows students to engage and watch their learning come to life. Coupled with Scripture memorization, interactive Bible study, and weekly chapel experiences, our curriculum shows students how God’s Word can be experienced and incorporated into everything that we do!

Our preschool teaching staff is focused on each child’s individual growth. They will know your child personally, nurture their strengths and weaknesses, and encourage them as they grow academically, spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

We know there are many things to consider when choosing a preschool. It is your child’s first educational experience and as a parent, you want to make it a great one.

We do, too.

Academic Life

We offer our preschool students a balance of freedom and structure to encourage their natural love of learning. Our students’ days are filled with engaging activities that match their high energy levels as well as their intellectual curiosity.

Our preschool teachers were carefully selected for their love for children, their dynamic personalities, and devotion to Christ. They have a deep understanding of how younger students learn. Their knowledge and experience can be seen as they facilitate lessons, create crafts, share stories, and utilize fun learning centers. Our teachers feel like an extension of your family as they invest not only in your child, but also you as a parent.

A visit to our campus is all it takes for one to experience the safe and caring space provided for our youngest students. Entering a preschool classroom at Hartfield is the best way to discover how our students are exposed to foundational building blocks that lead to reading, playing, creating, writing and listening skills that will have them ready for elementary school. Our approach to early learning is enhanced through weekly opportunities to participate in areas like music, physical education, library, cooking, and computer.

Most importantly, all of our learning activities are centered around helping our early learners understand that God made them, He loves them, and He has special plans for them! Our curriculum is based on a Biblical Worldview and is taught by teachers living daily with a Biblical Worldview. Time each day is devoted to introducing students to God through daily Bible time, scripture memory, and service opportunities designed specifically for their age.
