Hartfield Seniors Share their Experiences from Passion Conference 2024

Twelve Hartfield seniors had an incredible experience at the 2024 Passion Conference! We are so grateful for the opportunities our students have to grow in faith and be challenged to live out our passions for Jesus. We can’t wait to see how the Lord will use what they learned this week to make a difference on campus and in our world!
A few students took some time to share about their experiences:

Addison Nash says, “The Lord was speaking to me through worship and taught me about the spiritual awakening of our generation. The importance of keeping the word of God in our society today and not being afraid to share it.”

“There are no words I can say that would even begin to express how impactful these past few days have been. I am so thankful that God has given me the opportunity to be in one place with over 50,000 of my brothers and sisters in Christ! Passion is truly such an eye-opening and life-changing experience! God is SO good.” shared Reagan Swan

Zoey Reed shared about what the Lord taught her through an Instagram caption shortly after returning home from the Passion Conference. Her caption had something encouraging for all believers to hear! Zoey shares, “I just wanted to share what God has placed on my heart these past couple of days. The amount of work God did in my life in such a short amount of time was unbelievable. I have never felt what being on fire for God truly felt like but now I have. It is the most peaceful feeling I have ever felt. I believe God has put us on this earth to spread his word and I have been trying to figure out how to fit that into my plan but I realized that it is not my plan, it is not my life, but it is gods. I want to spread the word to as many people as possible, But I would be lying if I said I was doing a good job at it. I told myself I would change my ways when I came back home but I haven't. Because I myself can not change, only god can change me. All that to say I pray we all stop depending on ourselves to change for god and we depend on god to change our hearts.”

Mary Grace Seago shared via Instagram, “HOLY HOLY HOLY, our God is SO good!! Thank you Jesus for Passion and all this love. There aren't enough words to describe this week and how the Holy Spirit worked through me!!”

These responses to a weekend full of growth left us encouraged to hear that our students are having personal encounters with the Lord! It’s words like these that affirm our mission: seeing every student fulfill their God-given purpose.
