Hayden Hughes and Lori Jones: STAR Student & Teacher

Hayden Hughes has recently been announced as the STAR Student for the 2023-2024 academic year. This prestigious honor, awarded by the Mississippi Economic Council (MEC) through its Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program, recognizes exceptional academic achievement and leadership among Mississippi students. Alongside this recognition, Hayden has designated Upper School English Instructor and English Department Chair, Lori Jones, as his STAR Teacher.
Established in 1965 by the Mississippi Economic Council, the STAR program aims to acknowledge outstanding students and teachers across the state. Hayden's selection as STAR Student highlights his dedication to academic excellence and his exemplary contributions to the Hartfield Academy community.
