1st Grade Teacher
Betty Rhodes has been teaching Elementary Education for 46 years, with 44 of those years being in Rankin County. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University for Women and also has her National Board Certification. Betty has two sons and 5 grandchildren and she is a member of Pinelake Church. Betty has been a part of the Hartfield family for four years, and believes they have truly become an extension of her own family because they are so supportive in times of need and are also there to help celebrate the great times.
“I know God’s purpose for my life is to teach these precious children about God and to help them grow in God’s word and to help them be more like Jesus.
I see Hartfield’s future full of God’s goodness. It is an awesome experience to watch these students grow academically and spiritually. To witness these students becoming a family where they are encouraged to be a servant of God and want to minister to others on the mission field fills my heart with excitement.”
