Worldview & Culture Exchange Program

Leading in love, connecting cultures, & forging friendships

The Worldview & Cultural Exchange Program at Hartfield Academy is designed to foster meaningful international connections, providing students with opportunities to experience life and faith beyond their everyday environment. As part of this program, Hartfield will host students from a Christian school in Hejnice, Czech Republic, from March 22 to April 4, 2025. This follows our October 2024 trip, where eight Hartfield students and three faculty members traveled to the Czech Republic to live, learn, and grow alongside students at our partner school. Through this program, students are immersed in diverse worldviews and cultures, gaining first hand insight into how God is working in communities around the globe.

Benefits of this program:

  1. Immersive worldview and cultural experience
  2. Understanding and experiencing God’s work in other parts of the world
  3. Spiritual growth for both Czech and Hartfield students
  4. An educational experience of a lifetime

How this program fulfills Hartfield's mission:

The worldview and culture exchange fulfills Hartfield’s mission by providing Hartfield students and families with a unique and life-changing opportunity to prepare for the next stages of their lives. As a college preparatory school, this experience will be a star on a college application that could be what a student needs to stand out. Ultimately, it fulfills our mission by allowing both parents and students to live out and model the student and family expectations to the glory of God.

Primary Goal:

To provide Czech and Hartfield students with a formative worldview and cultural experience that helps them to further discover and develop their God-given purpose.

How you can support:

  1. Pray! Pray that students who don’t know Christ will, and that those who do will grow in their faith and worldview.
  2. Apply to be a host family. Do you have the heart, willingness, and space to integrate one Czech student for ~8 days? Do you love demonstrating and sharing the gospel? A host family could be right for you.
  3. Participate. Do you have access to some type of unique experience? Maybe you love going to the MS Braves. Perhaps your family loves trivia night at Lost Pizza. If you have experiences you’d like to share, we can connect you with a host family to coordinate.

Host Family Responsibilities:

Welcome and embrace a Czech student into your home from March 22 to April 4, 2025. Include them as part of your family and demonstrate the Gospel through Christlike hospitality, creating an environment where they can experience love, faith, and community firsthand.
