Brandon Buckhaulter Signs With The University of Mississippi
With great excitement, Hartfield Academy is proud to celebrate the signing day for Senior, Brandon Buckhaulter. Buckhaulter signed to play football with The University of Mississippi and will begin school this Spring, making Hartfield Football history as the first athlete to early-enroll to a Division I football program.
Brandon has been an integral part of our football program’s success the past two years. His career stats are stunning with 67 receptions, 21 touchdowns, and 1,167 receiving yards. He was chosen for 2019 and 2020 MAIS All State, made the 2019 and 2020 1st Team All District Team, was named a 2020 MAIS All-Star, and selected as the 2020 MAIS All-Star Offensive Most Valuable Player
"It is very exciting to be a part of Brandon's signing day. I have really enjoyed coaching Brandon these past two years,” says Head Coach, Craig Bowman. “It has been even more fulfilling to watch Brandon grow as a young man and seek after his God given purpose in his life. I know that Brandon is prepared for the next part of his story at Ole Miss. I am really looking forward to watching Brandon compete at the next level." Off the field, Brandon was known for his school spirit and created many lasting friendships. His most significant memory from his time at Hartfield was when he was able to attend a mission trip to Guatemala and invest in the children living there. We are proud of the young man Brandon is becoming and are grateful to support him as he pursues where God is leading him next.
Brandon was able to meet all the requirements to graduate early from Hartfield. He will begin at Ole Miss this Spring. Of course, his Hartfield Family will be cheering him on as he pursues both athletic and academic success.
