Hartfield Accreditation: Upholding Excellence in Education Through a Biblical Worldview

It is the time of year Hartfield submits its annual report to ACSI, one of our accrediting agencies. Hartfield has sought accreditation that ensures both a quality education to prepare students for college, and organizations that have high standards for education through a biblical worldview. These accreditations are globally recognized, providing credibility and assurance that Hartfield meets high standards in teaching, curriculum, and student services while equipping us to fulfill our strong mission and vision.
It is rewarding to see the work that God is doing in our student’s lives and how blessed we are to have teachers passionate about teaching their subject through a Biblical worldview lens. Our report serves as a checkpoint of accountability to fulfill the high standards set by accrediting bodies to fulfill our mission.  See the following FAQ’s for more information.

What is accreditation?
Accreditation is a process in which an external organization evaluates a school to ensure it meets certain educational standards. It confirms that the school provides quality education, effective governance, and meets educational standards for academics.

Did you know Hartfield is accredited through multiple accrediting agencies?
Hartfield is accredited by four organizations:
  1. Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
  2. Cognia
  3. Midsouth Association Independent Schools (MAIS)
  4. National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA)
Why does accreditation matter for my child’s education?
Accreditation ensures that your child is receiving an education that meets established standards for learning to prepare a student for college. It means the curriculum, teachers, and learning environment are all regularly assessed to ensure they are effective and up to date.

How does accreditation affect college admissions?
Most colleges and universities require applicants to have graduated from accredited schools. Attending an accredited school ensures that your child’s diploma and transcripts are recognized, increasing their chances of being accepted into higher education institutions.
