See You at the Pole: A Global Day of Student Prayer
On September 25th, students, friends, teachers, and Hartfield staff joined together in prayer. Groups gathered to lift up prayers focusing on our friends and family, our school, our state, our nation, and our world. At Hartfield, we are blessed to be able to pray and talk about God each day with our students, but it is always an encouragement to see our student body joined through prayer with believers all over the world!
See You at the Pole™, the global day of student prayer, began in 1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their school. Decades later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September.
See You at the Pole™ is simply a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to pray. See You at the Pole™ is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event. Our Hartfield worship team played a huge role in leading us in worship, while a few leaders in the student body led us in prayer. It was a great reminder and an encouragement to all that we can pray freely in our school!
Hartfield Academy is fully accredited by both the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the MidSouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of independent Schools (SAIS).
