Now that we know a little but more about our members, let’s hear what they do to make Hartfield even better!
Hartfield's curriculum team meets weekly to pray over and review our curriculum, which helps support our teachers in teaching our students. To best serve Hartfield teachers, this team develops or reviews standards, lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that align with Biblical principles while maintaining academic rigor. The team also analyzes standardized testing results to provide teachers insight into what our students are mastering and review where our teachers may need additional support in our curriculum. The team also offers professional development opportunities to help teachers confidently teach from a Biblical perspective, foster spiritual growth in their students, and address various learning needs, ultimately ensuring a cohesive and impactful education experience through a Biblical Worldview for all students. Among many of these things, this team has been a resource to teachers in all areas of the school!
Hartfield Academy is fully accredited by both the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the MidSouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of independent Schools (SAIS).
