Deeply Rooted: Dig Deep, Branch Out, and Bear Fruit

This year promises to be a year of growth and opportunity at Hartfield! With new programs, buildings, and more students than ever before, we praise God for the wonderful things He is doing at Hartfield. We believe every student's God-given purpose is to know God, discover who He created them to be, and serve Him with their life, gifts, and passions. When students do these things, they are fulfilling Jesus' great commandment of loving God and neighbor.
Fulfilling our mission starts with a foundation in Christ. Deeply Rooted, our 2024-25 school theme, comes from God’s Word in Psalm 1:1-3; and emphasizes the importance of being firmly grounded in Jesus Christ, much like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.

The word “rooted” means, “to be unwavering, fixed, or firmly established.”  Over the past 13 years, Hartfield has taken root in our community and God continues to bless our school in many ways.  This August, Hartfield will conclude the Undeniably Different building campaign and open its doors with a new Junior High building, a new weight room for our student-athletes, a covered outdoor classroom, new awnings covering carpool drop-offs, expanded parking lots, multiple campus renovations, and a new home stadium for everyone to come and support the Hawks. Our teachers are trained and prepared to teach from a Biblical worldview to the highest enrollment ever, with over 1,300 students.

Despite so much growth in numbers and facilities, we are most proud to see how God grows and matures each of our students each year.  Just as a tree draws its strength and nourishment from its roots, we seek to provide our students with an education that is grounded on the Word of God.  The key to our spiritual growth and bearing fruit is establishing strong roots in Jesus Christ.

As educators at Hartfield, we have the opportunity to plant seeds in the lives of our students to grow strong and mighty.  It’s our calling to focus not just on the academic experiences but also the spiritual, emotional, and physical development of each student.  Seeing each student fulfill their God-given purpose is the most rewarding part of it all!
