In October, the Hartfield Parent Association (HPA) once again hosted Hart & Soul event—their annual fundraiser that is one of the major highlights of the school year. Thanks to the generosity of our Hartfield community, this year’s event was another tremendous success!

One of the most exciting outcomes of Hart & Soul 2024 was the launch of a brand-new Teacher & Staff Grant Program. With a portion of the event’s proceeds, HPA created an opportunity for teachers and staff to apply for funding to support projects, materials, or initiatives that would directly enhance their classrooms, subject areas, or extracurricular programs. In addition to the grants, teachers were also encouraged to create Amazon wishlists with items that would further benefit their students and learning spaces.

The culmination of this effort came just before Christmas at the end-of-semester faculty luncheon, where HPA had the joy of announcing the grant recipients and fulfilling many of the wishlist requests. The excitement and gratitude in the room were palpable as teachers and staff saw their classrooms and programs blessed in tangible ways.

Thanks to the generosity of Hart & Soul donors, HPA was able to provide:
✅ Soccer goals for East Campus PE
✅ Light tables and manipulatives for our preschoolers
✅ New science equipment and models for Upper School classrooms
✅ Brand-new drumline equipment for our band program
✅ Calculator Charging Stations for Upper School Math students
✅ And so much more!

Seeing the direct impact of this fundraiser on both students and educators is a powerful reminder of why the Hartfield Parent Association exists. HPA is a parent-led organization dedicated to supporting, encouraging, and equipping Hartfield students, teachers, and staff in meaningful ways.
