The Hartfield Junior Musical, Annie Jr., was a Success!
Hartfield Academy’s junior high and middle school students took center stage on November 22nd and 23rd, delivering two performances of Annie Jr. Performed by 6th through 9th graders, the production showcased an incredible blend of talent, teamwork, and dedication, bringing the heartwarming story to life.
For the students, participating in Annie Jr. was about more than memorizing lines and learning choreography—it was an opportunity for growth. The experience allowed students to find self-confidence, self-expression, and creativity, as well as put their memory skills to the test. Students also developed teamwork as they worked together to perfect not only their performances but also the details of set design, prop preparation, and stage management.
The sold-out shows were a testament to the Hartfield's support and excitement for fine arts at Hartfield. “I am so glad I did this. It was so much fun,” said Emma Fryant, who played Annie.
A packed theater both nights proved to be another shining success for Hartfield Academy’s fine arts program.
Hartfield Academy is fully accredited by both the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the MidSouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of independent Schools (SAIS).
