Hartfield Academy Football Secures Back-to-Back MAIS 6A State Championships

For the second consecutive year, Hartfield Academy’s football team has claimed the MAIS 6A State Championship. In an amazing showdown on Friday night, November 23rd, the Hawks soared to victory with a 19-14 win over Jackson Prep.
Hartfield’s road to the championship was marked by relentless effort and teamwork. Head Coach Craig Bowman praised the team’s dedication, saying, “This group of young men has worked tirelessly all season. They’ve faced challenges head-on and demonstrated what it means to be a team.”

The Hartfield community came out in full force to support the Hawks, filling the stands with cheers and school spirit. After the final whistle, the celebration was unforgettable as players, coaches, students, and families gathered on the field to celebrate the big win.

With a sad season for many seniors not returning, it was a special night for the Class of 2025 to go out with a win! For now, our team and our fans are still not over being back-to-back champions. Hartfield Academy has once again proven that they are not just playing to win games but building a legacy of excellence on and off the field!
